Just another quick post to show the latest addition to our DnD arsenal :)
A laser engraved dice box.
Result
The initial cut
The final result
with the magnets inserted
Source
The blueprint for the box comes from boxe py
The magnets are coming from amazon
We had to use a little bit of force to assemble the sides, but this was far more easy that we expected. The magnets were the hardest to insert, as we had to use a rubber mallet to force them into the holes without making any mark (or breaking !) on the wooden parts.
We also added some packing foam so that the dices do not rattle.
Acknowlegments
Once again, this project would never have been a success without the help of the team at Descarte's FabLab, who gave us all the links to generate the box, and were here to help with the laser cutter.
Thanks to them !
